Description
Our plastisol 6″ ring will brighten up swing sets and provide cool non-slip hand grips for children. The inside diameter is 4 1/2″ and the bottom grip is 1″ in diameter. The sides are 1/2″ in diameter. Hole for S-hook is 1/2″. You can use the H140 – H150 – H165 – H172 with this. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Tensile strength is 2800 lbs. Price is per ring.

This is for children 4 – 12 years old only. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to stand on or use unsafely. Rings are considered exercise equipment and are not recommended for public playgrounds unless suspended by chains 7” or less. Do not allow it to be used if damaged or wet.

Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions. If the installation instructions differ from ours please contact us at 800-227-7529.
Take one S-hook or H-shackle and attach one end to eye of ring and one end to last link of the chain. Close according to Figure A1.19 for Fastening Devices. Make sure that fasteners are strong enough to support weight and use. We suggest at least 5/16” diameter fasteners. WARNING: Once the S-hooks have been re-opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking. Make sure that if you are using shackles they are also tightened.
Maintenance: At the beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for sharp edges and/or cracks. Check for vandalism. Check for rusty or worn chain. Replace parts if necessary. Check to make sure S-hooks and/or H-shackles are closed properly. Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records for public-use playground equipment.
