Use to fasten children in half bucket swing seats. This galvanized safety chain comes covered with a plastic hose. It has a snap hook and 2 S-hooks for fastening across the front of half bucket seat. The chain is 1/8” diameter and is 12” long. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Weight .35 lbs. each. Tensile strength 295 lbs.
This is for children 2 – 4 years old only. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to stand on or use unsafely. Do not allow it to be used if damaged.

Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions. Attach the S-hook to the ring on each side of the half bucket swing with channel locks. Close both S-hooks so that the side of a dime cannot enter the opening. WARNING: Once the S-hooks have been re-opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking. All fasteners must be closed according to Figure A1.19.
Maintenance: At the beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for sharp edges, rust and cracked plastic sleeve. Check for vandalism. Replace if necessary. Check to make sure S-hooks are closed properly. Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records for public-use playground equipment.
