This seat is for children 2-4 year olds only. Not for Adults. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to stand on seat or use unsafely. Do not allow it to be used if damaged.
To connect the S105 to an 8′ frame it is recommended to have a 4′ length of chain to ensure proper spacing below the swing seat and the safety surfacing below. As the height of the swing frame increases the 4′ length of chain should increase proportionately i.e. a 10′ high frame should have a length of chain of 6′ for the S105.

Installation: Make sure when seat is installed the warning label is visible. Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions. If the installation instructions differ from ours please contact us at 800-227-7529.
You will need to connect S-hooks or shackles from the triangular hardware on the seat to the chain and then S-hooks or shackles from the chain to the swing hangers. The seats need to be not more than 2 ft off the ground. Hangers need to be spaced 2 ft from the end of the set and 2 ft apart for each swing. You will need to make sure the S-hooks are closed to within .04 to meet ASTM safety standards. To do this you will need to use our S-hook pliers or a regular pair of channel lock pliers. WARNING: Once the S-hooks have been opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking. Make sure that the shackles used are tightened and if you use the shackle swing hangers for the chain that these also are tightened. Inspect regularly or use Loctite® to make sure bolt is still tight.
Maintenance: Do the following to reduce the chance of serious injuries. Check monthly for cracks, rust, missing rivets, open S-hooks or evidence of vandalism such as cutting, metal showing through the material or bent seats from children standing on them. Tighten and lubricate all metallic moving parts per manufacturer’s instructions. Check all protective coverings on nuts, bolts, pipes, edges, corners and all moving parts including swing hangers, swing seats, ropes, cables, chains and shackles. Replace as needed. Make sure there are no exposed footings, anchoring devices, rocks, roots, holes or any other obstacles in or around playground equipment. In high use areas these inspections should be done more frequently. Clean with mild soap and water when you do the monthly maintenance checks. If you see wear on a swing, replace all swings purchased at the same time. Remove swings from set when temperature reaches zero or over 100°.
